About us

Diggin It Customs LLC started from a simple mindset: do the work right, or don’t do it at all.
Fishing has been part of my life from a young age, thanks to my grandparents who first got me on the water. Some of my earliest memories are fishing alongside my grandpa, learning patience, respect for the process, and appreciation for the gear we rely on.
One moment in particular always stuck with me. I hooked into a fish that felt like a rock at first—until it started moving. My grandpa and I fought that fish for a long time before the line finally broke, and we never found out what it was. Losing that fish taught me early on how much gear matters when it counts, and that lesson has stayed with me ever since.
Every reel that hits my bench is treated like it’s my own. I take the time to do proper tear-downs, thorough cleaning, careful reassembly, and bearing replacements when needed. I don’t rush jobs or take shortcuts, because I know how frustrating it is to lose confidence in your gear. The goal is smooth, reliable performance you can trust on the water.
On the kayak side, I focus on functional builds that match how you actually fish. I believe your kayak should work for you—not against you—so every setup is clean, purposeful, and built to hold up over time.
When I run into a problem that doesn’t have a good off-the-shelf solution, I design and 3D print custom parts and accessories to fill that gap. These are practical, purpose-built pieces created from real-world use, testing, and feedback—not just ideas on a screen.
Diggin It Customs is built on transparency, quality, and pride in the work. I’m not trying to be the biggest shop—I’m focused on doing honest work for people who care about their gear as much as I do.
If you’re trusting me with something you rely on, I don’t take that lightly. Everything that leaves my bench reflects my name, my standards, and the way I fish.
